Dr. Neelab Anwar is a board-certified orthodontist in Escondido, CA who is known for her compassionate, patient-centered approach to orthodontic care. At Happier Smiles Orthodontics, she specializes in creating confident, natural-looking smiles with clear aligners, and braces.
Dr. Neelab is especially passionate about the finishing details of a smile, including smile arc, smile width, and overall facial balance—ensuring each patient’s results are both functional and beautifully customized.
She completed her orthodontic residency at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health at the University of Rochester, where she received advanced training in modern orthodontic techniques and complex cases using clear aligners.
Before specializing in orthodontics, Dr. Neelab earned her degree in Biological Sciences and Physiology with high honors from California State University San Marcos, and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at the University of Southern California.
Outside the office, Dr. Neelab enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter Ayla and staying active through tennis and pickleball. Patients love her warm, empathetic approach and her commitment to treating every patient like family.

Our practice believes in the value of giving back to the community. We’ve established partnerships with organizations like Smiles Change Lives, which helps children from low-income families get braces, and we also volunteer at local homeless shelters. We’re committed to making a positive impact in our community in any way we can, and we’re proud to support our local schools and sports teams as well.
