Braces Friendly Snack Ideas

While wearing braces, you need to be mindful of your snack choices, but you still have many enjoyable options.

Try for softer snacks like puddings or yogurt. Soft fruits like strawberries & bananas are great too! Smoothies are an awesome choice and soft sandwiches you can eat in pieces like peanut butter & jelly. 

  You can still indulge in some crunchy or salty treats by choosing softer options like walnuts or small crackers, letting them dissolve a bit in your mouth before chewing. The same goes with cereal and some chips- you can let them dissolve a little before chomping them with your teeth.

Soft granola or protein bars are fine, too, just check for large nut pieces and brush well afterwards to clear any remnants from your braces.
